How fast will it arrive?
Most orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days, with tracking. Yours leaves our US warehouse within 2 business days of you placing it. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories take longer, and there are no customs fees on any US order.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery, and the clock stops the day you email us — not the day the parcel goes back. Email us with your order number and a short video of the camera and everything that came with it, so we can check it over before it travels. We come back with confirmation and the address, usually within a few days. It can be installed and used — it just needs to come back complete, with the original box and every accessory. Returns are free: there is no restocking fee, and we refund your return postage together with your refund.
What if it arrives faulty or breaks later?
Tell us within 7 days with a short video showing the fault. We replace it at our cost — send it back with tracking, keep the postage receipt, and we refund the postage alongside the replacement. After that, hardware failure is covered by the 18-month warranty, handled as a replacement rather than a refund.
Do I have to pay someone to fit it?
For the camera, no — adhesive mount, 12V socket, about 10 minutes. The hardwire kit is the exception: it wires into your fuse box to run 24-hour parking mode. Many owners fit it themselves with the instructions in the box; if you would rather not, an auto-electrician will do it in under an hour. The kit is included either way.
Can it help with an insurance claim?
Dash cam footage is often used as supporting evidence in insurance disputes and hit-and-run investigations. It has to be authenticated as genuine and unaltered, and whether any particular clip is accepted is a matter for your insurer or a court, not for us. We make no claim that fitting a dash cam earns you an insurance discount.
Is it legal to record my passengers?
Video generally is. Audio is where it varies — some states require every party to a conversation to consent to being recorded. The cabin microphone can be switched off in settings. Check the rules where you drive.
Will it work with my car?
It fits standard 12V vehicles — cars, SUVs, pickups and vans — and the hardwire kit also runs on 24V systems, the kind found in many trucks and larger commercial vehicles. Its low-voltage cutoff protects the battery on both. There is no proprietary wiring and no manufacturer-specific adapter. If your vehicle has a standard fuse box, the hardwire kit is designed to fit it.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. There is no subscription. Footage stays on the included card and downloads to your phone through the app.
